I have been wagering on the internet or at brick and mortar gambling halls for many years. I have determined, the craving usually will take a hold of you and you will not even notice it till you are bankrupt. Notably if you are on a run. I have gone through many tens of thousands of clams in a very short period of time and at times, I still go a bit too far. It appears you are just enjoying yourself up until you decide to track your squanderings and the guilt sets in, and of course you keep telling yourself "I can win the money back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you lose.
When you discover that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to give away, don’t tell yourself, "well only one more" and again and again, believe me, this method barely ever operates. Say you are wagering on slot machines, have a number set aside prior to beginning your gaming. DO NOT go over that restriction, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to profit, put the winnings in a separate pot. Don’t risk your payouts at any cost. Once you have played through your original set cutoff, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the internet or at a land based gambling hall, do not stay at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Clearly, this tactic usually will function for any game that you play, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.
Keep in mind, wagering is supposed to be FUN not demanding, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot afford the squanderings, don’t even start.
